Meet Erica Simmons
I'm Erica—the founder and creative director behind Sel et Lune.
With a background in luxury hospitality and a heart rooted in ritual, I’ve always been drawn to the art of gathering.

I began my career in Michigan, where I spent years creating bespoke weddings and celebrations that blended logistical precision with deep emotional resonance. During that time, I operated my own event production company earning industry awards and international publication features along the way.

After relocating to Miami, I worked with the acclaimed private membership club, Faena Rose, producing over 80 high-touch events with esteemed luminaries and thought leaders Gary Vee, Malcolm Gladwell, The Metropolitan Opera, and Jon Batiste.

My approach is equal parts intuitive and intentional. I’ve always been drawn to the energetic layer of events—the rhythm of a space, the feeling of arrival, the unseen alchemy of flow. While I’m certified in Reiki and passionate about wellness, what truly defines my work is that beauty becomes meaningful when it’s felt, not just seen.​​​

The Meaning Behind the Name
Our name Sel & Lune means Salt and Moon in French.

The moon represents intuition, emotion, and the soft glow of transformation. It is the rhythm keeper, the guide. The salt is grounding—an ancient symbol of essence, preservation, and truth. Together, they embody the duality we bring to every celebration: soul and structure, dream and detail, ethereal and earthy.
